Got a NOS early GT380/GT550 throttle cable & it looks different than the old one.
New part # is 58300-33001 & original part # is 58300-33000.
The new cable has a metal ~90 degree bend on one of the cables. (See top center of pic.)
Is this correct? If so, then which carb get the ~90 degree bend?

Re: early GT380/GT550 throttle cable?
Thanks for the reply.
Do you still have the 73 GT550? (Stock, it has the early carbs.)
My old cable is damaged at one of the carbs.
I was thinking it might be due to some generic issue & that Suzuki may have changed the cable design to address this.
Your third link is listed with the original part # (58300-33000) & it looks like my old cable.
I bought a new cable at the local Suzuki dealer.
It has the official SGP label with the new part # (58300-33001). It looks like the the one in the above pic & in your second link.
I’m not sure what to make of the cable in your first link.
So my new cable is likely correct. But then which carb gets the ~90 degree bend?

Re: early GT380/GT550 throttle cable?
Surely the 90 degree bend part goes into the throttle tube, not the carb?

Re: early GT380/GT550 throttle cable?
The original cable has one ~90 degree bend at the throttle.
The new cable has two ~90 degree bends: one at the throttle, and the other at a TBD carb.
Suzuki has added these bends to other throttle cables.
The early gray T500 cables have two bends: throttle & oil pump.
The late black T500 cables have four bends: throttle, oil pump & both carbs.

My 550K hasn't got the 2nd bend, so unable to help this time.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

Yes still have 1973 gt550 and original cable still on it
The first cable link must be aftermarket.
The cable you bought may work and my guess is it doesn't matter too much if you get it wrong for 90 bend. Furthest away with respect to cable routing and could be helped (less stress) by the bend? Or, which one went bad for you, maybe that is the one that was under stress due to not having bend and the 90 degree bend will help now. If it makes no sense/doesn't work, surrender and get the original cable for $22.00
And, my pride is hurt for I can't help you as to why that changed and which carb to put it on. I does seam to be a legitimate change. Someone may know if they worked at a suz dealer during 70s or 80s.
Thanks for FYI, I'll wait and see what you do and say. So far if I need a cable, I'll get the original until I learn other wise.

Re: early GT380/GT550 throttle cable?
Very early 'J' models left the factory with the metal elbow that goes to the right carb. You are lucky to find a NOS cable as Suzuki discontinued it quickly! I have one on mine.
Here is a 750J with bend fitted
And here are some NOS carbs with elbow fitted
Photos are not mine copied from another forum.

Re: early GT380/GT550 throttle cable?
Thanks.
My old cable was damaged at the right carb. So maybe Suzuki switched back to the bend at the right carb because the straight cable didn’t work out.
