or 'Yetinother GT550'.
Might take a bit of work this one.

With a bit of help from these.
Eeny, Meany, Miny, Mo and Earwig of course.
Second (J) and third (Q) from the left will see 'changes' very soon!
Left one is a 'spare' K. As you do tend to find languishing around from time to time.

That's this year's project taken care of.
Watch this space!

Wow, Alan. You're balls to the wall with rebuilding. I did a few in a 4-5 year time frame. But, I'm done for a long time. Turned my rebuilding aspirations toward real estate. No way can I do another bike.

Got the wheels back, putting Dunlop Streetsmarts on them - same as I fitted to the other 550s.
I always did prefer Dunlop boots on my 550s back in '72 when I got the first one.
All the 'black bits' taken to the powder coaters (Metal Magic in Barnsley) and should get them back on Friday.
In the meantime, here's a bit of wheel porn!

Lovely. Same colour as my 380. Who did the painting?

Looking good

A question , though. Do you go and find these bikes, or do they just turn up at your garage door, like stray cats?
