Hi cnicko,

You can fit after-market Mikuni VM, or the Keihin equivalents. There are also a variety of manifolds to replace the std. Suzuki aluminium type. When going away from Suzuki std. though you will need to be prepared to experiment with jets, needle position etc. to get them dialed in.

I suggest that you contact Motocarb (in the UK) who I am sure could provide recommendations, and then sell you the solution lol  ( http://www.motocarb.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

A second source is Allens Performance who also have carbs, inlet rubbers etc as well ( http://www.allensperformance.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). I have good experiences from both these outfits.

You will probably have to go with pod air filters but as the these carbs a much easier to change jets and adjust than std. it should not be too much of a hassle. I will leave you to search the two web sites above but you will find most, if not everything you need (and several options)

Cheers Geoff

Keep us posted with your progress. I've just bought these for my 75 T500....very cheap, from Taiwan. They fit perfectly with the shorter early manifolds I plan to use...hopefully I can make them work !

Any info on part number for similar for the VM28 '77 GT250? I'd like to use the stock intake rubbers, the original carbs are proving quite problematic.

Nothing by that number in ebay. I wonder if they filter by country.

EDIT: Yup, they do, had to go to uk ebay, thanks!

Another EDIT: These are knock offs of OKO, not actually OKO (and for the price, may not matter). I think for the cost I'll buy standard new Mik VM28s and put my new GT250 sized parts into them.
