Suzuki 2 Strokes

Ok, just theorising for the moment, but has anyone ever built up a T500 with a 360 degree crank?
Sort of like having a twin cylinder single.
I seem to remember back in the good old days of two stroke grand prix( real gp ) that some manufacturers experimented with different crank phasing, ( Big Bang motors)
Would the balance factor of the existing crank wheels need to be changed?
I have a couple of spare engines in the man cave, might make for an interesting experiment.
If anyone has ever tried it, or just got any thoughts, I would like to hear them.

Yes. I did a 360 crank back in the early '80's for a friends dirt track race bike. I just did the crank and I never rode it. More vibes, but it hooked up better. Thats all the more info I have on that one.

Not the same thing, but a very clever guy I know turned a Kettle into a sort of big bang motor, by aligning the outer 2 pots.....he did it because he said there just isn't the room for three chambers of the size that are needed to get it to run right.....so the two outers breath through a 2-1. He reckons the motor is a lot smoother.
