GT750 carb choke spring plate issue
My choke lever will not stay engaged and it seems the spring plate has more flexibility that it should. I've tried bending the plate but still can't get the lever to stay by itself in the choke position. Tried to find the spring plate from the expanded parts diagram but no luck there. Does anyone has a good used spring plate for sale for the GT750A? Paypal funds waiting if so- thanks.

Re: GT750 carb choke spring plate issue
It might be enough to increase friction between the lever and pivot. I don't think that Suzuki sold that as a part on its own, but MikeXS.com does have some parts for similar BS34/38 carbs that might do the trick. I suspect that there should be a really thin wave washer in there to provide friction but all you need to do is to grind a little off the pivot so there's less play.
