New GT550 Project

I started my search a while back and of course, everything online dried up. After hours of searchtempest and craigslist and ebay searches, I found a GT550!
Short story - I returned from Bonneville where my Hayabusa had spun a rod bearing on the dyno the night before Speedweek. I came home at midnight and the last thing I did was "hmmmm before I fall asleep, I'll just run through craigslist real quick" and there was a GT550 basket case, complete, motor not stuck, in my price range. I emailed the guy and he emailed me back at 4am. Turns out he lives less than a mile from me and I had the bike that afternoon!
I got the complete bike with stock exhaust and a box of parts. All the wiring and stuff included. The only two parts I saw that were not usable are the stock oil tank (cracked) and the gauges (bad shape). The rest is there and looks usable. I'm sooo stoked. Can't wait to get started on it.
