Got some bad news from my crank rebuilder that the rods on my 71 T350 are toast. Anyone know where to find the rods and big end pins? or if they cross reference to another engine?

The whole crank assembly is the same as on the T250. Rods and everything is identical and share part numbers.

Don't know of any source for this type of nos parts other than Paul Miller, and ebay.

There are perhaps alternative parts, but not easy to find if you don't know exactly what to look for but I'm sure someone here will know.
For example, the rods on the Kawasaki H1 is the same as on the 440 and 550 Kawasaki jet skis, that made it easier and cheaper to find new rods before they became more commonly available as repro parts (and many of the rod kits sold by aftermarket suppliers today are actually jet ski rods). If there are any cross references on these parts for the Suzuki I'm interested in knowing too as I have both T350/250 engines that needs rebuilding.

well there are 2 types of rods on these things. A and B have a 21mm small end ID the rest have 18mm id.
I need the 21mm version.
I wonder if the 18mm rod and piston could be fitted to my crank or there may be differences in piston as well ?

Not sure of all the details for the T250 but I had a GT250 (picture to the left) that started life as a '74 GT 250. I later got a '71 T350 and took the top end, over bored it 0.060" over and dropped it right on the GT bottom end using the GT rods and all.

I do know there were some differences in the T250 cases. I had a hop up article that described the T350 to T250 swap that said you had to clearance cut the cases for the piston skirts to clear. It seems by the time the GT250 came out the incorporated the T350 case changes into the GT250 production because I had plenty of clearance on those cases.

I found a kit from EMAC in France. Included bearings for both ends, big end shims and big end pins and the rods.
