Pistons

Any one know what changed relative to the L and M piston versus the A and B? Note they have different part numbers. Interchangeable? Thanks.

MAB pistons should all be the same (are at least interchangeable). J-L pistons are narrower at the wrist-pin and will not accept the later spacers. You can run early pistons on later rods, but you have to leave the spacers out.

Lane, that would explain it. Thank you. Any idea why the parts manual shows L and M with the same part number?

Slight addendum: J and K pistons are narrow inside. L, M, A &B are all the same as each other and are machined to take thurst washer on the small end.
