Here are a couple pic's of my T250 project. Not a restoration, not a museum bike, just an "oily rag" - bring back to life, refurb. It will be one of my daily riders, (along with my DT400C) this season and I plan on doing some weekend travels/over nighters aboard as well. I normally like to leave the paint original, patina and all, but in this case a P.O. had stripped and primed the tank grey so I couldn't live with that. So I rattle-canned it using two part clear and the results are not too bad, if you don't look close
Mechanically I did the usual replacing worn out parts and a few missing bits. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on her soon. (as soon as that ugly white stuff disappears)

I like this bike! Good approach getting it back on the road and nice all-arounder.

Thanks gentlemen!
I managed another short ride today, about 2.5 miles up the road and back. I'm happy with the way the bike pulls for a 250. 6th gear, 5000rpm, is 60 mph indicated and she'll still pull from there. Of course dropping a gear is the proper thing to do at that point if I want to accelerate but I was surprised how well the engine works.
