Hey everyone for those that have bought accent ignitions did you have trouble getting a hold of uwe, I sent him two emails before he responded back (1 week) told me what the price was and I sent him the payment on 1/15/16 he just sent me a notice that it was sent out today 2/18 did it take you this long to get your ignitions, just wondering since it is going to take 2-3 months total before I receive it.

I ordered one on 06 Jan and got the same email this morning. He quoted 6-8 weeks from order to shipment. I don't see a 2-3 month duration in your time frame - looks like 1 month from order to shipment on yours.

Hi mike, received this from uwe soon after I asked what the delay was, I was under the impression that it took 6-8 weeks to deliver by mail, didn't know he had to make these and that they were not readily in stock.


Hi Myron,

1. we have had no ignition in stock
2. ignitions are not the only one we do, please have a look to or webside
3. we have to manufacture new ignition's
4. every ignition is running to 100% test
5. in the offer we told you that we a have a delivery time about 6 - 8
weeks,
now we have 02.18.2016 and it is the 5th week after ordering, think it's ok.
6. we are a very small factory, 3 people and we can only work

y, what he explained in his email to you was what he'd explained to me prior to my order going in. Should take about 7-10 days to get here by Deutsche Post. He sent along the tracking info to me, but I don't see my package being tracked in the Deutsche system yet to be able to confirm the 7-10 day shipping window. I know I get ebay stuff from China in about 4-5 days here on the west coast, so it seems reasonable to expect 7-10 from the ever efficient Germans. Looking forward to installing the unit and firing the bike up with the new Jemcos and a solid state ignition - Xmas in February

I didn't get any info before or after I sent him the payment just what the cost would be and assumed it was on its way a few days later. I'm on the west coast (bay area) we should get it around the same time, I got tired of the points adjustments so I made the move to electronics, if you're close by maybe we can get together for a ride some day.
