Torque settings.

Hi again,
Can anyone tell me the torque wrench settings for the primary drive gear retaining nut and the clutch hub centre nut. My Haynes manual seems to have missed them out as it only gives settings for standard 6mm-10mm bolts.
Both these nuts have the locking tab washers.

36 ft/lbs primary drive
36-43 clutch hub. Same as 550.
Please note this was discussed recently if you have a spring lock washer, not the tab washer , on the primary drive, then the torque is 101 ft/lbs.

Ok, so I've torqued up the primary drive gear nut and folded over the tab washer, I've torqued up the clutch hub nut but how on earth do I fold over the tab washer. There seems to be no way of getting anything behind the washer to fold it over as it's deep inside the hub.
Am I missing something simple ?

Start it bending with a small, sharp electrical screwdriver?

Hello Glyn,
I always slightly bend one side up before fitting, that way you can lever it up with a small screwdriver and finish it securely with a small punch.
