1972 T250 sprocket/gearing question

Hello all. As I continue with my T250 project I have a question regarding sprockets. My bike is currently fitted with a 37 tooth rear sprocket and the stock 14 on the counter shaft. The rear is badly worn.
I have a 38 tooth in new condition from a T350 wheel that I would like to use.

But stock is 14/41.
My question is --- will the 38 be too tall for this bike? Its quite a jump from a 41 and I don't want to render 6th gear totally useless or require excessive clutch slipping to get underway.
(I've never ridden this bike, purchased in disassembled, non running state)
I'm prepared to purchase a new 41 if I have to but they don't seem to be readily available through my local suppliers and besides, budget wise I'd sure like to use the 38 I've got and put the cash towards other needed bits.

Thanks!

Relic

291054811532 on ebay. There seems to be plenty about.
If you're doing a job, do it right, but it's your bike.
A 38 tooth rear will gear it up quite a lot and make 6th gear an overdrive.
Suzuki knew what they were doing when they put a 41t sprocket on.

Thanks for the e-bay # Alan. I had found a few but missed these in the UK. Price is quite a bit cheaper for me than from the US with our Canadian dollar in the dumper. I was hoping to find one through one of our shop suppliers, (no shipping cost and employee discount  ) but so far, none have the part number in their catalogs. I'll keep trying though and if no luck, I'll order from e-bay.
I think you are correct about 6th gear --- I was hoping maybe someone with a 250 had experimented with a smaller rear sprocket and could relate their experience but as you say, I'm probably best off to go with the stock number of teeth.
We know that works.
