T350 questions

Well I have a couple of questions about a 72 T350
first off I see that there are different models for that year how does one tell which model they have?
secondly does anyone know what bikes have the same steering stem races as the T350? I would like to put in tapered bearings and am hoping that there is a kit already available.
thanks.

The T350 J of 1972 was a one model only situation. It came in two colors,
Corporate Blue, or Pearl Orange, both with white stripes. All those generation
of Suzuki street and some trail bikes shared the same steering bearings, from the 250's to the 750's and on into some of the four strokes. Any of
those aftermarket taper roller bearing kits for the GT's and such, should do
the job nicely. They're listed on Ebay all the time, and should be readily
available from any bike dealer with aftermarket catalogues. They are
definitely worth doing. Cheers.

The T350 has the same steering bearings as Kawasaki H2, same upper and lower unlike the GT series that has different sizes for upper and lower.

That was going to be my next question, in the kit the bearing are two different sizes... now I know only one of them is any good.
so what H2 kit should I get?

What diameter and stack height do you have there, is it a 30mm ID 48mm OD and 12mm stack height bearing???

Odin.
My sincere apologies for the misdirected info on those bearings. I made
the fatal error and "assumed" incorrectly. The list that those bearings fit
is long, and I screwd up. I hope you can resolve it with the suggested
Kawasaki set, with no financial loss on your part. Keep us posted.

Damn it, neither one is close to those dimensions. Oh well, so as I said I'm not familiar with H2's is there a certain year/model that I should ask for?
no problem I'm sure I can find a use or home for them.
edit: I figured it out, thanks for the dimensions Allan.

Can't remember the measurements of the bearings, just that they were for a H2. Also had to remove a "spacer ring" on the steering stem to fit the bearing.
I guess some of the H2 owners here can tell us if there are different sizes for different years of the H2...

Thanks elbert, the H2 set stack heights are different thats all. was it you asking for measurements of the stripes? if so I will post some pics and measurements tonight. I will need them for a reference later on as well.

Yes it was me asking for the measurements on the stripes, I was thinking about making a sketch to show which measurements I need, but I haven't had time for it yet...
I don't use the original headlamp ears on mine, so the stack height havent been a problem, but I belive I read somewhere about a guy who just used a pair of orings to fill out the extra gap.
