3 years ago I was nosing around the basement of my local Suzuki dealer, when I found a 71 t250 scrambler sitting in the corner with the top end disassembled. They told me the bike cost to much to repair for the owner,so there it sat for 35 years, last inspection expired in 73.
After 3 or 4 tries they agreed to sell it to me.So I rebuilt the top end and rode for 2 years.
This summer I noticed the right side pipe smoking quite a bit and my transmission oil level going down,so I decided to look for crank seals only to find the right seal obsolete.I stopped by my local dealer to check,he said they are obsolete, but had 5 in stock,so I bought 2.I have replaced the seal and so far so good.
