A while back I came across a 2014 cb1100 deluxe model that the guy wanted 6 grand for, awesome deal and I let it get away, now theres another guy who has one for 7,500 but im trying to get him down to around 6,500 but the bike has 3,000 miles and a dime sized ding in the front of the tank, very small but still those tanks run 900.00!!!, I live in texas and hes in Arizona so im thinking if I can get a deal on the bike , maybe 6,000 bucks I might have it shipped but I have never had one shipped, so anybody ever have a bike shipped? and if so can I get the name of the shipper? im thinking if I eventually rebuild my gt750 motor, at least ill have a bike I can ride in the mean time , and use as an everyday rider,,, I currently use the gt750 whenever I want to ride and id like to take it easy on her...

There's a ton of shippers on the internet. You can shop for your best deal.
The only person I know here that had a bile shipped is jabcb on this forum. He bought a bike from me (in Oklahoma) and had the bike shipped to PA. you might PM him.
Just make sure the shipper has an enclosed transport vehicle. Nothing like getting your new bile ripped off while the driver is sleeping in a motel.

I've used uShip quite a few times.

I typical require an enclosed trailer.
The one time I didn't, the shipper used an open trailer & the bike showed up a mess because of some bad weather.
Other than that I never had any problems.

The one other issue of note is that the pickup & delivery dates can move around a bit till they actually happen.
The shippers keep the cost down by transporting multiple bikes and may change schedules because they may get additional contracts after agreeing to your terms.
They are typically small businesses & may have schedule changes because of mechanical problems too.

I had my GT500 shipped from Ohio to Texas by The Federal Companies. They're one of the shippers who give an AMA discount. The bike was mounted/strapped on an open pallet inside a standard semi truck trailer. The trailer contained a lot of other bulk items: freezers, big tool boxes, etc. The bike was padded and covered. The cost was $684.00 door to door, and I got frequent tracking updates. I made all the arrangements online and on the phone. Theirs was the lowest bid of 3, and easier for me than renting a van and driving round trip to Ohio.

FYI, the picture on my profile was taken the day it arrived.

I have shipped numerous cycles. For a cheaper cycle or a restoration candidate cycle, I have used uship numerous times. Seems to be fine. You have to be really flexible about pickup dates and times and you can't be in a hurry.

For a more expensive cycle like yours, I would 100% recommend federal shipping. They are very careful with the bikes and its is shipped very safely. There is tracking and it usually arrives quickly- within a week or so. In comparison, there have been times that I shipped using uship and it took a month. As mentioned above, federal gives a healthy AMA discount. It'll still run you $600-$700 dollars but it's well worth it. Here is their website

Stand your ground. If it is a for real offer from another party let it go. Don't over pay for anything there will be others
