Hi, I have a 1975 T500M that I am rebuilding. I need to replace an exhaust and a front footrest. Can someone please tell me the model years that will fit ok. Thanks.

It suggests that there is one footrest type and one exhaust type for all models of the T500

Again going off memory of things I've read. Wasn't there a wheelbase change very early on?. I remember seeing a pic of both sitting side by side. The exhaust relief around the rear pegs appeared to be 4 or 5 inch different. I may be all wet. Memory ain't what it used to be.

A shorter swinging arm for the very first model, but doesn't appear to have affected the exhaust or footrests
