Look what I found...

I'm at work yesterday, going from Bushkill to Stroudsburg and I see a bike in my rear view mirror. He gets a little closer, but I can't really tell what it is other than its water cooled. Another 1/2 mile or so and I see the crossovers in the exhaust, so I wave him over. I think his name was Carl...I'm lousy with names. He rode up from Lancaster, PA to visit family. He has a bunch of 2 stroke Suzukis and uses the resource page often, but he doesn't use the boards. I gave him this site info.

It still makes me grin to see a classic being used on the roads. Just yesterday I followed a 1930s rigid-frame AJS single for a couple of miles because of the wonderful crack from the straight-through exhaust ... it wasn't a chore to follow him as he knew how to ride it, and wasn't hanging around.

A little further along I rode in harmony with a 70s MHR Ducati. The thunder from his pipes more than made up for the stock exhaust on my Suzi :)
