Suzuki TR125

Post by dejerre »

Hi,

My name is Jeroen and i'm from belgium.
Recently i bought a Suzuki TR125, but when i try to search for some information about it, i can hardly find anything.
I've read it's a "brother" of the Suzuki GP125 and that it isn't so common here, more likely in countries like India, Thailand, etc... .

I found a manual of the GP125, but they are still a bit different.
Also the manufacturing year is a guess for me, i think it's early eighties?
Frame and engine number didn't help so far...

Here's an image i found:

Can you guys help me out?

Hi Jeroen,

Welcome. I'd not heard of a TR125 but found a picture from a Swedish brochure dated 1983. A TR125 is not listed in the website http://www.suzukicycles.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Good luck!

Thx for the quick reply, but i already came across that one. :)

The biggest problem is the front brake caliper and the wiring diagram.
I bought a caliper from a GP125, which is the most similar to it. But the caliper just isn't the same. (holes and disc don't fit)
The wiring of the GP125 is 6V while this one seems to be 12V, so the diagrams aren't usefull either.

Looks like the bike is from another planet. :wink:
