Rear fender removal

Post by gt-keith »

I need to remove the front section of the rear fender on my GT380 to gain access to the swinging arm pivot grease nipple.
As it''s made of plastic, is it simply as case of "Unclipping" it ? As I can't see any screws just four locating lugs, two either side.

Yep. They just clip on. On most models the 4 pins have rubber sleeves on them so the fender fits snug. No other retention.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.
