Plug Cap Confusion

On my last GT550 (RedZone) I swapped out the plug caps for the non resistor type. They worked really well and produced a markedly better spark. The part number was LZFH 8710. I decided early on that I would use those caps on my current build. I went to the parts store (O'Riley) and got waited on by a stone cold, book only rookie. 15 minutes of thumbing through books and he can't find the part number anywhere. A more experienced part man came over to assist. He told the kid this is what he wants right here. He turned the book around and showed me a pic. I said yes, that's it.
I get a call that the caps are in. I go and pick them up. OH NO! These boxes are labeled LZFH 8381. So I go on the internet and get increasingly confused. These caps look just like the ones I had and were too short to have a resistor in them. So I put them on. They work and give me a nice blue spark at the plug. BUT, I'm still not sure what I have. It's been eating at me for months. Now I find that there are other LZFH caps that DO have resistors. 1, 5 and 10 ohm. SO from that I assume that LZFH is the shape (maybe).
Can anyone tell me the difference between the LZFH 8710 and the LZFH 8381? What do I have?
Also what the hell is the difference between a spark plug cap, a spark plug cover and a resistor cover? They all look the same to me.
