I'm sure this has been covered many times but I'm struggling to find 380 specific info.
Basically, what grade fork oil is recommended for the GT380B, also what quantity ?

Thanks in advance.

Capacities are listed in the General info and specs sticky. Weight of the oil depends on your weight and the type of ride you like. A good all around fork oil is ATF (automatic transmission fluid). Logically, heavier oil will produce a stiffer front end. I'm getting old and looking for cushy ride on my latest bike. I am using Bel-Ray 5w fork oil. If I was heavier, I would have gone for 10W. I think fork oil is specified a little different than motor oil. Generally speaking, most guys use 10-15W fork oil. ATF falls in that range and is about half the price of fork specific oil. I used ATF in my last 2 550's. Works just fine. I'm sure fork specific oil is preferred by the purists. This 1L bottle of Bel-Ray cost me around 15 USD and more that half of it is left.
Google 'choosing fork oil' I'm sure you'll find out more than you ever wanted to know.
