GT500 Disc brake calliper O-rings source?

From dealers these calliper O-rings are a bit over the top pricewise.
Often with stuff like this it's easy to get the same size part at a fraction of the cost from 'your local bearing supplier' (or whatever).
So, the O-rings on those long calliper bolts 59111-18410, anyone have a correct size for these?

Passing on from another poster (I now have a bag of a couple of dozen which will see me out with my 3 GTs!)
Cheers,
Mike

Local price here for the 4 itty-bitty o-rings is $35 plus postage -about $43 all up.
It's the 1.25mm cross-section size which is unusual, whereas 8mm x 1.5mm cost just a few cents each AND are made from the correct rubber.
Could possibly try the 1.5s, I've got plenty of those, and do some careful re-profiling (with fine wet 'n dry).

Just a note that this online pdf:
http://www.robinsonrubber.com/pdfs/NitrileRubber.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"

Lists the rubber used in these o-rings as having 'Poor' resistance to brake fluid.
But these o-rings wouldn't come into contact with brake fluid would they. I'd say rubber grease so they slide nicely in the calliper tunnels.
Just worth noting not to lubricate them with brake fluid.

Hmm the plot thickens as usual.

I can't find the post right now, but there was a thread recently which suggested the rubber o-rings on the pins are not needed, they just help to retain the grease.

On a classic that is well looked after, a generous smear of red rubber grease on the pins every couple years would be fine.

I rebuilt my 380 caliper about 8 years ago and fitted new o-rings (they came with the caliper rebuild kit) with a generous amount of red grease, and the o-rings have stayed in perfect condition. If they are not broken, just clean & grease 'em :)

Bugger! I just ordered 25!!!
Ah it's no worries, I can handle $12 for 25, a bit better than over $40 for 4!
Anyway, thanks boys, hopefully this thread can lead someone else in the right direction.

I post this because it is relevant. DO NOT use Versa-Chem synthetic caliper grease. I have used it twice and both times it dried out and got very sticky.. Use a grease that's gonna stay with it and don't over do it. You don't want that on your pads.

Yep, I think that's the trick, use the grease on the pins VERY sparingly. -And for mine, with rubber o-rings.
(My o-rings were beyond redemption Craig).
Craig reckons you might get away with running no o-rings at all on the pins. - With nice unworn parts and just a light smear of high melting point grease that'd probably be okay, but I certainly wouldn't want to risk the grease melting and contaminating the pads.
The actual movement of the calliper on the pins is tiny, must be no more than, what, 5-10 thou?
Or what do you reckon?

Good tip Mike thanks. Now I've got enough for 6 lifetimes too!!!
Cost me $A26 for 25 o-rings, about a dollar each, the local price was $8.80 each (yes, I said $8.80 EACH!!!)

I put my GTs calipers together without the o-rings. Used a little silicon grease on the pins.
