Brake bleeding.....

I got the new brake lines for "Blueboy" and put them on today. I have
never had an easier time bleeding front brakes. I am shocked, as I anticipated a battle. I just filled the MC, attached the mityvac, pumped up to ten, and cracked the bleed screw on each side. A couple of extra pumps, and done.
It actually worked the way it's supposed to!!!!!

What kind of lines did you use Lane?

Braided steel, both attached at the MC with a double banjo. Same setup as I have had for years.

That's the same setup I had on my now sold cafe (the one I was working on when you were here). That double banjo sure does simplify things. I used a brake light banjo on the rear MC. Those work a treat also. This bike has an aftermarket MC front. It uses a micro switch for the brake. Far superior to that sliding OEM mess.
