Suzuki 2 Strokes

There was no tank strap on RedZone. As it turned out, the front of the seat held the tank down. I think this is right, but I want to be sure I don't have it upside down or something.
You pull on rail A till you can get rail B in the tabs on the tank. Then you flip rail A down. Is that right?

I flip rail A up and let the seat hold it in place. I think that is the only way it will work. I'll try and get a pic in a few.

oops - you are right, down and the seat holds it. My camera battery is dead. -

Hmmmmm. That doesn't look right at all. The seat should have nothing to do with holding the tank on.

On the 750 the strap is stretched as in you picture Coyote with the B rail attaching to the rear tabs of the tank,then as you say fold the A rail downwards & out of the way,if the strap is fitted the wrong way around,this will be immediately obvious,I don't think the GT550 would be much different than GT750 the seat plays no part in holding rear of tank.Coyote,you still own a 750 ? have a look at yours...for reference

I meant that the seat rests on top of the metal handle section, not securing the tank in any way but keeping the latch from accidentally popping up/out while riding. The pic posted has been working for a couple of years. If I flip it over the bends in the bar want to scratch my tank paint when I use the bar as a handle to stretch the band.

I don't have the Buffalo anymore. I got it on just like the pic. Stretched to hook B in the tank tabs, folded A down.

your method is correct then !
