One Final exhaust Question

Do the 2 center / inner pipes pass through the center stand? Not that it matters much as they're never gonna fit. The difference between the pipe OD and the rubber ID that supposed to go over it is 1/8 inch and already captured by the clamp. I don't think all the lube in the world, getting them melting hot with a heat gun and a BFH will ever get them on.. Not willing to try on my own for fear of pushing it off the center stand. Will have to wait till son is free to help. We will have to work the front wheel up against a locked door to keep from pushing off the stand.

Loosen up the clamps even more to allow the rubber to slip over the pipe and the muffler. You can also use a smear of high temp gold permatex as a lube.

:? Hi,another pair of hands will help ! Bike on centre stand..pass the pipes through the stand, minus the rubbers & the clamps....refit rubbers & clamps push home onto header pipe with the add of WD40 or something similar,do up rear pipe mounts first, then both pipe clamps, lastly do up the header pipe at the exhaust port.I've never fitted pipes that have the crossover connection to the outer pipes, but I would think having the outer pipes slightly loose would aid the alignment of the cross over tubes  :?:
Cheers,
Roger
