Refurbishing 550 Badges
I refuse to spend $30 a pop for new incorrect side cover badges. Especially when I have 4 originals in various stages of lousy. Covered the GT with grease and shot the whole thing black Then wotked them over with sheets of paper taped down and moistened with lacquer thinner. The proceeded with acetone and q-tips. Got a little carried away and removed some of he black I shouldn't have so I have a little detail work to do. FYI, Lacquer thinner and acetone do not attack the sparkle paint.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Those are looking good. You have some good starts there...most of my badges are missing some of the orange.
