Suzuki 2 Strokes

I did some searches and it seems that there are no parts available to repair a failed petcock diaphragm. What are my options at this point?

Can you post a pic? Maybe a different bike uses the same part?

It would make sense to sell a universal membrane kit - one with the valve and a large piece of material that could be cut to match your petcock. It seems a lot of them are identical except for the shape of the membrane.

A Pingel vacuum petcock is another option. Its about $180.

Coyote - what does the plate do? Also they have several sizes. Which one does the T350 use?

The adapter plates are to mount the petcock they are selling to your tank. I have no idea what fits your tank. They also have an adapter nut at the end of that section.. Maybe jabcb can help with that.

you need the 22mm adaptor nut on page two if you use this petcock.

A Pingel 6391-CHV fits the T250/T350/early GT250/T500 tanks without an adapter.
It has only one outlet, so you'll need a T or Y to connect up to both carbs.

I have the 6391-CHV on a GT250 & a T500.
On the T500 you'll have to rotate the petcock a bit so that the petcock vacuum chamber clears the tank seam.

The Pingel has 3 positions: on, reserve & off. It doesn't have a prime position.

If you look on eBay there is a bloke in Australia sells aftermarket fuel taps ,I bought one for my rebel $40 au I think, does away with the diaphram. I was going to renovated the fuel tap on mine, but for the expense and some bits not available thought I may as well give it a go.

I received the petcock from Australia. Step one: install new petcock, Step two: plug carburetor vacuum port, Step three: enjoy reliable fuel control. Step four: don't sweat the fact that it is not as Mr. Suzuki designed it.
