misleading ebay add!!

Post by johnakay »

WE ARE AWARE OF CHEAP COPIES ON EBAY .. THIS IS GENUINE SUZUKI QUALITY

AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY $100 FOR SHIPPING LIKE THE JUNK COMING FROM

OUT OF USA ..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-T500-1 ... 4ae5ae5fb1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-T350-1 ... 339e7c61e3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

so who charges $100 for postage. thats £65!!

junk!! no one else is selling these other than me as far as I know.
Condition:Remanufactured theres a give away straight away.
Suzuki themselves do not make these as we all know .
having a label with an 'S' does not make it any better than mine.

the two grab rails in question mine are currently priced at £72.50 and shipping to USA £20 ($142 inc shipping)

This listing (SUZUKI-T350-1) has been removed, or this item isn't available.

John,
Agreed, it is a deliberately misleading ad. That said, the parts look nice enough. But sneaky doesn't work for me. The seller must think the buyers are stupid.
Cheers,
Mike

Guess you don't count, yeadon_m. :wink:

What do you want, John? For us to show our outrage that someone lied on the Internet? :twisted:

Take the high road. I've never seen your products, but my feeling is that they are of high quality and fitment. Push these traits in your eBay postings.

there are likely two types of buyers for these racks - The guy who has already spent a lot of money, and wants a quality reproduction, and the guy who wants the cheapest solution possible to strap his milk crate to. The first guy is your market. Work it for him.

There are some eBay sellers in northern Ohio that are problematic (using polite language).
Don't know if its one seller with a bunch of accounts or several sellers with a bunch of accounts.

A number of our forum members make a point of not doing any business with them.

The eBay account you are pointing out looks to be one of those accounts.

I live a few hours away from them.
If you search my old posts, you see my irritation that some years ago someone in the area was selling a sweet restored GT250 because he lost his job.
I thought about buying it but decided against it.
One of those northern Ohio eBay sellers bought the bike and parted it out.

John, a little off topic but I was wondering if you had made any short padded sissy bars for a 73 GT750? //Pat
