Are 550 and 380 side covers interchangeable ?

Absolutely 100% identical. So are the tanks 74-77.

They are identical. Leave the 380 badges on also and your "GT380" instantly gains 10+ HP. The performance gains were quite noticeable when I made the same modifications to the Chevy Nova I had years ago.
