Part Fiche ?

Post by pearljam724 »

Does anyone know of a site that has part fiches listed for our bikes ? Since Damon's has made some changes. I can't find a site that has them listed for our bikes. Thanks, for the help.

Damons or PartsFish, whatever the hell they are called now can still get you all of the parts at a much cheaper cost than most competitors. But, the difference now. They need you to provide them with a part number. They told me, they can still obtain all of the parts they use to if they are provided with a part number. I say we all ban together in making them understand that a lot of us heavily relied on there site and it was them that we turned to in reference to our parts. They get enough phone calls and dedication. They may just resort back to the way it use to be. But, we all have to support them in doing so. I'm sure an investor was a big part of the reason things changed. Lets convince them to change that portion back. Don't be afraid to call them and let them know.

Partzilla is about the best discount I have found. I have ordered from them 3 times now without issue.

Did some price comparisons.
Basis was the air filter for a 1969 T350 (figured it was a useful representative part)

Website for local dealer near me: $47.21
Alpha Sports: $51.56

Was $38.25 @ Partzilla
http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/S ... parts.html

Did a Google search & found two sites that have great prices.
I don't know anything about either of them & don't know if we should trust them.

Was $34.56 @
http://www.metricpartsoutlet.com/oempar ... 6091310001

Was $37.96 @
http://www.cyclepartsoutlet.com/fiche_s ... &fveh=1935

Have a big order to put together soon -- I'll take the safe bet & go with Partzilla.

The second one looked pretty legit --- till I read the testimonials. Several are just duplicates. Also their shipping is somewhat higher than Partzilla.
