radiator stop-leak ?

my manual says to at 2.5 oz of radiator no leak to the coolant system when filling. is this really something you should do?

Would it be in the manual if it wasn't necessary?
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

I can understand the recommendation back in 1972 when there were not many water cooled bikes around, but it should not be necessary. I didn't use it on any of the GT750s I rebuilt but if you get an annoying weep, you could use it.

Yes coyote there is a lot of bs in the manual that is unnecessary not a constructive comment
