Suzuki 2 Strokes

Is this a part? it came out of either the bag with the oil inspection window pieces or the bag with the new oil cap guts. Those are the only 2 bags I opened and it sure doesn't look like anything I've ever seen before.

Pick year, model, oil tank, part 4.

No. There are 3 pcs. that come with the window replacement. A new lens, a new rubber gasket and a new metal marker that goes in the window.The metal piece has a tab that locates itself in the upper hole behind the lens. I have replaced 4 lenses and have never seen this part.

My guess would be that it's an oil baffle that fits in the filler cap.

Doesn't look like the backing plate for the oil level window to me.

Looks more like the blank that gets punched out of a wiring box, for a conduit to connect.

Hey! Check out the copy of this fiche. Looks way more like that plastic piece than the metal piece. Maybe it's an either or.
