Ah ... nice clean and painted parts

all powdercoated. really like the looks of the black fork sliders. project is moving right along. my wife says i dont pay attention to her anymore though, only the bike. and "how much have you spent on parts?" i dont even want to know the answer to that one.

A tip .. before you attach too much to the frame , put the frame on the engine .. it makes the process so much easier and safer to both you and the nice powdercoated frame . Set the engine up on its alternator side ( no oil in the tranny ) and then set the frame over the engine .. slide the engine mount bolts in place and tip the frame ( now with engine ) back up on some carpet . Engine in and so easy and no scratched up frame . Also leave off the lower water inlet until engine is in the frame .

thanks for the tips! i am going to do engine install that way. problem is im still waiting on my crank from bill bune and cant help myself but to start assembling some stuff. also the lower water inlet i never removed cause the bolts were so frozen in and was tired of snapping fasteners. i take it it will still fit into the frame just much less clearance.

GROUND GROUND GROUND!! With all that powder coating, be sure to grind off all the areas that need to be bare metal. Check with a meter as you go that all is grounded properly. Will suck to have to take it apart and do it then..
