Hi all,
Does anyone out there know of where I can purchase some genuine 1977 Suzuki GT380 fuel shut off valves. I bought some cheap kits of e-bay and the valves are rubbish. On occasions when I start the bike fuel ends up all over the floor. Not a good idea if your out on a run. Float bowl heights set at 25mm.

My GS1000 does that on occasion. I's caused by a stuck / sticky float not your float needles
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Also could be worn float needle valves or crap on the valve seat.
Think of how stupid the average person is, then realise that half of them are more stupid than that.

The valves are new but cheap and it's a different carb that floods on each occasion. I have put an in line filter on the fuel pipe to stop any dirt getting through, but it still happens.

Crappy fuel deposits that have dried on the seat of the carb float valve then.
Not much cure for that I'm afraid unless you have an inline shut off tap so you can run the carbs dry when you get home.

I believe they are still available through Suzuki. You will pay for them though!!

As far as my records show, the needle valves / float valves on the GT380 is a VM26/26 2.0

Also, Suzuki part # 13370-34010. Suzuki want $53 each!
GTReiner1@aol.com sells OE and also aftermarket, which is 13370-34010-000Z at EU24 each.
Its unusual for them to flood badly through wearing out - more likely, they just ooze and fail to shut off crisply. If you are getting a gush, either the carb is wrongly assembled or your valve is sticking wide open. I'd try the latter two possibilities before coughing for new valves.

I've used the float valves that come in the Keyster kits on 2 different bikes. No issues Of course other than the bowl gaskets, the rest of the kit is junk.
