best silver cylinder paints for T500?

Post by smokin_blue »

what do you guys recommend for silver paint for the cylinder and head to bring a T500 back to roughly stock?

In the past I have used PJ case paint (for painting engines black) and have been very happy with the results. I have been to their site and they don't appear to carry a silver or grey anymore.

Stock on the barrels and heads would be no paint, if you bead blast them with 100 grit glass beads they will come out looking like new. Have never painted any of mine, so I can't recommend a paint. I like the original look and you don't have to worry about paint coming off.
