woodruff key size

Post by Coyote »

Piss me off. I'm trying assemble the carb rack for my GT550 and I am missing the tiny woodruff keys for the rack shaft. Tried to price them at Partzilla and they are obsolete. I need three keys. Does anyone know the size (probably a number)? Anyone have some spares? HELP!
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thanks guys! I'll check the local Ace. If they don't have them, I'll pick the 25 pack from McMaster Carr. Anybody need some? I need a few other things from McMaster so now is a good time. Maybe Partzilla would be interested. Though obsolete, their last price was $3.59 ea.

Of no importance, I use Fire Fox as my browser. It keeps trying to tell me I am spelling woodruff wrong. :? If I right click the word it gives me options. They are wood ruff, wood-ruff and woodrow.
That's it. A woodrow key

Woodruff is a proper name, so it should be capitalized. But Firefox still isn't smart enough not to flag it as misspelled. Of course, you can right-click, and add it to your dictionary.

Ace had the keys. Still pricey at $1.79 each. Beats waiting and having 20+ keys with no home.
