Can someone tell me where this spacer/thrust washer goes, its #15 on the fische. Upon taking mine apart and now re-assembling and checking the fische as I go, I realized this is missing. My guess is it goes under the neutral switch cover as there is a machined step at this location on the case?? Thanks for the help.
I don't have the part also, I guess if I had the part in front of me I could tell better. Just would like to know if I can continue with putting the trans gears in or have to remove the shift forks and drum to add this piece in.

I think it goes between #6 and #4 in that fiche. Here's what it looks like: Ebay item # 360563216503
I would remove the drum and check!!

Actually what I've decided is it is between #4 and #21. The fische is wrong I think. Looked at the GT380 and is shows it there. Makes more sense due to the size of the washer. So being I just removed the shift drum as a unit and didn't completely take it apart, I never saw that washer. That's what I'm going with for now.

Found a better pic for you: Ebay item # 390935085396
You can see the thrust washer on the drum! It goes between the drum and the case!

Yep, I see that now. I wonder what its used for ? Now I cant figure out what its use is? The shift drum slides in from the right side and goes through to the needle bearing on the left side. I cant see what would be pushing up against that piece on the right or why it wouldn't just slide around, moving to the left until it hit the shift fork. I thought a thrust washer was used to control end play??? This just baffles me?? I guess whatever the reason I better put one in there!! Someone out there I'm sure has the technical answer??

It's in there to keep the drum from wearing into the case.

Oh so the drum will rotate in the washer and not rotate against the aluminum case. Otherwise the steel drum will wear the case oval.

The face of the drum will rotate against the washer, not the aluminum case. The washer is in there to stop any wear and control end play!

Well, I pulled trans apart and took a look at the shift drum and there's one on there already. Now seeing it, I get it. Well I got plenty of practice working with the trans gear sets. I'm just paranoid because someone in this bikes past was a butcher!! So I'm just a little over sensitive to everything I guess.. But thanks for all the help.

Not a problem! Better to be a little sensitive than a butcher!!
