Suzuki 2 Strokes

I'd like to put rearsets on my GT500. I know there are some commercially available ones, but to be honest the cost of those would blow me right out of the water!
I'm wondering if anyone has found rearsets off a stock bike that I might find at a wrecker that would work -(possibly with modification - that's fine).
