FREAKIN &*#+%4$* GLUE
I took the emblems off my side covers and they left behind this indestructible glue that NOTHING will remove. I've tried everything. Naphtha, lacquer thinner, acetone. Nothing touches it. How do you get this crap off?
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Never mind. I have this high end paint remover made by Rust-Oleum that instantly dissolved that crap. Spray on - wipe off. Gone. It's called Aircraft Remover, made by Rust-oleum. Got at AutoZone on the advice of SuzukiDave to strip the paint off these covers. Don't know about the paint yet but it sure took that miserable glue right off. Sure wish I knew about this stuff when I was trying to remove the same glue left behind by my water cooled emblems on my Buffalo.
