Uknown Ground
I wonder where this went? Strange bare wire and an obvious ground. Front bolt of battery box. The battery ground strap can be seen at bottom of pic.


I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Just checked mine. One wire goes into the harness (like yours in the pic) and goes to God knows where. The other one loops around and connects to the neg. battery post. I assume that's to assure the frame is grounded?

You're right. I remember that from my last 550. Easy enough to make another.
