Mid-Ohio, Vintage days

I took my girlfriend out with me this year and since we drove, I bought a couple of scooters to get around with. I spent way too much upgrading them to 36v systems as soon as they arrived off the Fedex track but they held up extremely well and certainly did the job of going back and forth over the entire area of the event with power to spare at the end of each day. If you were out there and saw to goofballs laughing their butts off as the "scooted" around, that was us! I did manage to heek a NOS Dunstall half fairing with windscreen and NOS Dunstall tank for a song and a gsxr front fender that I coyly walked past on Friday telling my GF that I hoped that since most people were looking for older stuff, it should still be there Saturday evening....when it was, I bought it for a couple of bucks. I looked at some really cheap MC's and controls but they looked REALLY sketchy and I couldn't put my trust in them so I passed. I also managed NOT to buy any more bikes! The racing was good but we were pulling for a guy on a Iris Purple '73 CB350 because it's the same color and year of my gf's bike but he DNF'ed. The RD we saw was running very well and had a talented rider but we missed the end because we left to go meet some friends. All my friends treated my gf like she belonged and she's already talking about going again next year!
One of the nicest bikes we saw at the event was a T500. As we approached the bike, I noted to my GF that it was probably Paul Millers since he's the only one with enough NOS parts to build it and as we got front and center, we saw that indeed it was one of Paul's. He had another GT or T500 last year, different bike but just as nice!
I'm at the office so I can't access my photobucket but everyone is welcome to look at my album to see it here:

I'm almost ready to begin my GT750 build...just a little more engine work to the H1 and I'll be done with it.
