Hey guys, just picked up a 71 T250, and wanted to ask if anyone knew where I might be able to pick up an aftermarket exhaust for it. Was looking for something with an expansion chamber, preferably in the US. Or if anyone is selling anything other than stock I would like to hear what you have. Would exhausts meant for T500, GT380 or any other relative work? Thanks!

This is a topic about Jemco chambers on a T250: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8352&start=0
Jemco is in Texas: http://www.jemcoexhaust.com/index.html

Higgspeed also has T250 chambers but they are in the UK: http://www.higgspeed.com

You can make D&G for RD400 fit relatively easily.

The Jemco's are in kit form so you will have 2 -3 seams to weld up yourself. This allows you to fit it to the bike for he has no jig.
Here is a pic of it. I believe they are tuned for more for road racing. They do look nice

Jon Easton at Jemco does nice work and his pipes are good BUT that pipe is a copy of the old T20/X6 Race Kit pipe and it is probably the worst pipe to fit on a street T250. It's not a bad design - for the race track, but for the street it's not a good way to go. IMHO.

DG pipes are simple and cheap and appear to work pretty well on Suzuki twins if you change the flange mount.

GT380 has more or less the same motor but with even tamer port timing, but you may be able to borrow some GT380 pipes and copy the outer pair and make them work.

Thanks guys, I had done a search and seen someone else talk about the RD400 exhaust, I will look into one of these. Does anyone happen to know which flange mount I may need? The Higgspeed was way out of my budget.

Weld RD400 D&G flange onto this.
