T250 Pod filters.

I am thinking of putting pod filters on my 250 rebuild.do I just buy the right size and fit and ride or are there things I need to know.I have seen prices of $20 to $100.does price reflect quality.carbs are standard.

If your bike looks OEM (not making café) I would leave stock. Or upgrade to T350 box.... has larger are inlet tubes and bigger scoop inlet hole. Verify that's true for T250. It is for GT250

But, if you do run aftermarket the folded (K&N) type have more effective area per volume versus foam UNI. OEM for these bikes have relatively low flow filters for they have much area.
You may have to adjust your main jet.

I think the Y boot will help preserve good low end for it keeps the intake path length a little longer
