need T350/T500 rebuildable check valve parts

Have an early T350 with oil lines that have rebuildable check valves.
T305s & early T500s had the rebuildable check valves -- presumably my T350 has them because of the parts-bin manufacturing Suzuki did back then.

I need replacement springs & balls.
Seems that some PO rebuilt the lines & didn't include the springs & balls.

Any suggestions?

The rebuildable & non-rebuilable lines look like this:

A few forum posts mention the Kawasaki rebuildable valves.
Does anyone know if the parts for those valves fit?
(I can't compare the old Suzuki parts to the new Kawasaki parts because the old Suzuki parts were missing.)

The eBay listing for the Kawasaki parts is here:

Cheers,

Already got those check valves from the UK. Those check valves are replacements for the non-rebuildable Suzuki check valves.

They don't work with oil lines designed for the rebuildable Suzuki check valves.

Hummmm , thats the first time i have seen anyone comment or have seen pictures of a model with rebuildable check valves  i wonder if the guts out of a standard oil injection spider would fit in ?

You are right, early T500s had the rebuildable check valves. If you can find some or one on Ebay it might pay to buy it and test it or disassemble it for the parts inside the valves.

Jabcb,
I should have both early T500 oil lines and H1 oil lines on the shelf but please allow me few days for further investigation.

Don't disassemble some good oil lines that are in your parts inventory. Keep them for your future use.

Am doing a complete rebuild (Bune crank rebuild & oversize pistons) so I'm going to have a lot into this motor.
No point in skimping on the oil lines especially since I can use NOS lines.

Hello old thread

Found one of those pipes myself a couple of days ago when going through my oil pump parts stash box. I think it came with an oil pump that I bought off ebay many years ago. I didn't need it and actually, I think I just glanced at it....thought it was homemade and put it away. The left side line must have come with it but it must have been the 'non rebuild-able' kind.

I think I'll polish up the brass on this ugly #2 oil pipe and remove the black sealer and use something a little more neutral/ pleasing to the eye and look to buy it's #3 brother somewhere so I have a matched pair that I may very well need. I've had a true NOS later pair of lines in the original packaging for many years but I can't bring myself to use them.

I could not find a part number in an old parts book pdf for these lines but according to some of Ian's research, the earliest parts numbers for the #2 and #3 oil pipes were 16820-15030 and 16840-15030.....https://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_ ... s/page-A57" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"

A little more reference to check valves here (scroll down).... viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9437" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's the rightside (#2) from my spare parts stash. I hung it and some other ones (later version)up overnight and with no leaks from the check valves on this one.

.....but had flushed out a little blockage from the engine side of the of the ball,in the banjo itself.....
