I dig that color, but you're the one that matters!
Only thing I'd do different is paint the headlamp bucket black. Otherwise, yeah, that's a nice color.

It's only dangerous when your gal misses a period........
Well, maybe....but misplacing it could be MORE worrisome, IMO.

Smokie, it's pretty hard to warp the bodies....but sometimes the little "seal line" (raised "thread") cast into the body flange can be eroded by corrosion and this will allow leakage no matter how tight you tighten the screws. Check the body flange with a magnifying glass under good light to make sure that the "thread" is continuous all the way round. If not, you may have to put some "grape jelly" Permatex Gasket Maker on the gasket before you are able to stop the leakage. I, personally, don't like to use any kind of sealant on float bowl gaskets, but sometimes there's no alternative.

Like everyone else, I think it looks fabulous Chris!
But not just the red, the silver frame, black chambers and the overall proportions of the 550 rock.
I wonder if you might feel better about it if the stripe were also black, instead of silver?
Great work,
Dale

That bike is awesome,I see you stuck with the vintage style tires, which looks cool. Are you going to ride it or is it destined for a trailer?
