The silencers on that Bimota look just like Briggs and Stratton lawnmower mufflers!!

If you stroke it more than twice; you're playing with it.

Too many bikes, too much time, ENOUGH SPACE, FINALLY! Never enough money.........

Hey there guys - I know this is a very old post, but I also know how long these things can take to come to fruition....

I have both the barrels and head for this Mk3 TR500 as well as the water pump in ally.

Debating selling the lot as a bunch and / or making some patterns and having them re-cast.

This is certainly something we're capable of, if in doubt check out what we have done so far with the TR750.

My question is - are either of these actions of interest to any of you or do you know anyone who would be?

All the very best,

Brock

Hi Brock,

If you just sell what you have I am sure someone building a road/parade special would be interested. As regards reproducing them I am not sure you would have a worthwhile road/race market for the effort involved. I race a T500 with CRMC in their 500 Air Cooled class (BHR has a similar class) so no water cooled engines allowed (although I certainly raced against w/c T500 based engines within the 500 A/C eligibility period). I am not sure there are many UK classes a w/c T500 based bike could race in so the number of potential users would be limited. If reproduced for the road who knows what the world wide market might be.

Cheers Geoff

I don't know what the US rules are But i own and have race a watercoold model,
That was only eligable for forgotten era racing,And i think now post classic,
There's certainly not a lot of them around.
You also quit the work of modifying the crankcases.
