I didn't check with a Suzuki Dealer as the one I deal with is about 1 plus hours away and recently every time I have asked about a part they say NLA except for the LH seal..sometimes for me it's just as cheap to get one off the internet saving time and gas money..
Although I do try and support my local dealers If I can.

Taking Allan's advice I had a look for a front fender and many out there BUT most are rusty and have dings.
I phone my Suzuki dealer 60 miles away and give him the original part number and guess what..I have a NOS GT 750B fender coming :D ..limit supply it seems..

Guess I should post a updated photo.
The only Difference I now have a back rest and rack on the bike.
Going to install engine guards and Uwes Accent ignition which works so well on my 74 750.
Lot's of cleaning and finally got the compression up from 75-100-110 to 135-130-130
She was pretty gummed up inside.
Also have a video of the bike soon to be made public in a week or 2 as I like to space my videos.

Ian can you tell me how much the ft fender cost you. I had bought a few off of Ebay and had one rechromed so far after I had repaired a small section where it was dented.
The rechrome was triple plate and came out excellent, way better than the old stock chrome anyways.
The other one I plan to do is also in good shape, just needing rechroming as they all do after years of abuse.

Anyways I want to see what your price is versus an Ebay fender and the rechromed price combined. That fender has not been available in the US for years and so my next option was running Ebay searches for GS550 and 750 fenders where the deals can be had at around $50.00 for decent used ones.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Looks really nice !  Which guards are you going for ? A group of us here in Calgary put on Tarozzi's which are still made for the GT750 and are a bolt on fit. Fast from the Past (they posted in the 'Services' section of this board) sell them, although we bought from a friend of ours who deals in Lavarda's in BC. 8)

Should have bought the right one in Calgary when I first gave you the part number and checked the stock for you Allan - price has gone up since then I'm sure !

Suzsmokeyallan wrote: Ian, 76 and 77 fenders have an extension at the lower front edge for a frame rail mount and no holes in the frame loop section. Some 76 bikes didn't get this feature in the early numbers and used 75 and earlier type fenders.
Correct. Frame 626xx build 2/75 (I sold that one a couple of years ago) had the early fender style. Frame 649xx manufactured 6/75 is the later style. I have another 2 76 frames in the shop with 71xxx frame numbers dated 3/76 that appear to be identical.

Allan the Front fender cost me I think $325 and the dealer said limit supply. it arrived in 3 days..not bad.
A bud gave me a not bad GS550 fender after I had ordered the NOS one..lol so I have a spare
Suzuki also has the signals in stock. I may replace just 2 as there are badly pitted but turned up side down they look NICE

Roger..The engine emblems are indeed original ,thanks to Allan for posting a how to restored thread..
and really it isn't that hard to do.

Ian the guards (Tarozzi's ) on my 74 came from Fast from the Past and I'll be putting those on.

OJB, maybe you forgot but I did buy one way back then, so I got a fender when the price was cheaper.

Thanks for the price Ian, and it has gone up a lot as the fender was about $180.00 a few years ago when I got one in Calgary.
I can buy and replate an Ebay one for about $200.00 all in, so I can live with that price

That's cheap Allan..$200 for a fender to be re chromed..here it is $$$. I had a chain guard ,handle bars and 3 small items cost me almost $500 done for my 70 Kawasaki A7ss.
I was also quoted about 300 -400 plus for a fender so I opted for a NOS one.

Prices have gone up, but those sound high compared to what I pay here. Of course it all depends on the starting condition of the part in question. If you are in the CVMG, maybe post on that board to see what other places in Ontario you could opt to give business to. 8)
