I think i would take a little ride on the bike before removing the old grips , get it up to a nice highway speed say 60~65 and mark on the grip right where the top of the grip is at that throttle setting . I would put the new grip on so that ridge would be right on top at that highway speed to give your hand a little break when you need it .Repeater wrote:. If they are longer, you're ok. You can cut the end of the tube off, slide the throttle housing and master cylinder closer to the center of the bike to accommodate.
