Well No power dyno...yet.

Regarding the 3-1 pipe i have No idea who made it... But hope that some one might know? There are close up pictures of the exhaust on my blog http://www.allansgarage.blogspot.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can someone tell mé how much power i could gain with a jemco set of pipes? I Would love to see a video just like mine But with a set of chambers. So i could see and hear the difference

Hmm. The front end looks like Piper but the belly is very different to what I recall and the rear end looks more like a Bromlech from Australia. Very interesting.

Based on experience with other bikes and systems I'd expect Jemco or Higgspeed pipes to add a few horses from say 5500 up and for teh top end to be noticeably stronger. Time for a trip with both exhausts to Stinkweekels/Gibsons for a few dyno runs to get your jetting dialed in and then maybe you could share the results - at least in broad terms. :wink:

Here is what I find for Jemco on GT550

This one he really never gets after it. What such a big jump in gearing from 1st to 2nd on these bikes

Here is Ctluba when I think his jetting was getting closer to correct.
The bike is just not warmed up yet maybe until at the end a little bit Better Camara sound

None really show performance

This what I run
http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicle ... Z408774754" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

I can say they sure gave me a jetting challenge and boost compression at >5000 RPM and just adding these versus my stock pipe no richer jetting would ping like crazy. So they make a difference in power. My 73 will rev to 9000 in lower gears when accelling but the peek HP is over somewhere in the 7K Range. Hard to be looking at tach when driving like that

I was going to get Jemco, but not sure it will add anything,, accept less weight since I can't keep center stand. Jemco I think are loader too

Here is how to test your pipes for max performance :shock:

Alan, please forgize me if you've already posted elsewhere about this here, but how did you like your Jemco's versus the mystery 3-1 you had before? I am looking to get 3-3 chambers for my build as well.
Thanks :up:
