Pedro, the ones I have are in really bad shape, they both have serious road rash and the metal is very thin in places. I think they're beyond repair so I'd have to source some decent ones from elsewhere that were just pitted and I've heard that it's difficult to find a chromer that will take exhausts anyway as they mess up their tanks.
Now that I'm fairly close to finishing I'd really like to get it on the road before winter sets in and after seeing those glitzy pics of exhausts on the web site it's easy to get swayed. Just bolt on and go, no hassle. I know it'll cost a few bob more but sometimes when you're up against time you've just got bite the bullet. I just wish I'd confronted the the issue earlier in the project....well you live and learn :| .
